I touched a skeleton today. Not one made of plastic, but one from actual human bone. I held hands with it. It chilled me to the bone.It’s amazing that a human life can be reduced to a science classroom display. It got me thinking. It’s amazing that the first part of our life is about growth; we grow bigger and wiser and taller. But one day in our lives, the process reverses and our bodies start deteriorating from within. We age; our skin starts sagging, our brain starts forgetting, and one day our hearts stop beating. What happens when we die? Who will remember us, and how will we be remembered. Will we end up being nameless, faceless, unimportant in someone’s memory? I don’t want to die that way.
